Cheryl’s 40th birthday quilt

This project was so satisfying. Made of a number of blocks sashed with a fabric that resembled a wood effect, the quilt was quite straightforward to assemble. As a lap quilt, it was not necessary to ‘quilt as you go’. The quilting was limited to ‘stitch in the ditch’ as the richness of the colour theme and pattern of the fabrics just spoke for themselves! I need to learn how to produce photographs on freezer paper.
